Managing personal digital resources

The amount of information available in digital form is growing explosively. Indexing and searching this information efficiently is essential if we are to manage it effectively. This paper presents an approach for describing those data files so that they can be located quick and easily. It also introduces an approximate temporal retrieval model, supports multiple calendars, and allows users to define imprecise search queries with imprecise temporal constraints.
