摘要
As a country that used to be various kingdoms or sultanates, Indonesia has a rich cultural heritage including historical buildings. One of the historical buildings is the Kasepuhan Sultanate in Cirebon including its settlement called as the Magersari settlement. This settlement is part of the palace sultanate and is located inside the palace fortress. It is intended for servants in the palace. Because these settlements have historical values that need to be conserved, this study aims to analyse the changes in settlement space and their implications for settlement conservation. This study used Arch GIS 10.8 from maps obtained from Google Earth in 2006, 2012 and 2018. The results showed there was an increasing number of buildings during the period which caused damage to the remains, such as Kuta Kosod fortresses. The implication of the addition of buildings in the settlement was increasing the damage to artifacts in Magersari heritage settlement area and thus it requires conservation efforts.
