Formation of copper coatings of iron samples in a non-uniform magnetic field

摘要
In this work, influence, of a non-uniform constant magnetic field on the electrochemical deposition of the copper from the blue-vitriol solution on the spherical and cylindrical iron specimens is investigated. As shown, the copper deposition on the iron specimens under magnetic-field influence is inhomogeneous and distinguishes from the deposition without magnetic field. As also revealed, a preferred deposition regions are changed in case of covering the iron specimen by zinc that can be concerned with the possibility of the copper ions (adions) to show the dia- or paramagnetic properties in immediate vicinity of iron specimen depending on its coating.
