摘要
Given the increase in the impact of disasters due to natural phenomena worldwide, the education, training, and specialization of professionals in disaster risk management constitute an essential strategy for reducing disaster risks and strengthening resilience. The present work analyzes the current academic offer in Ecuador in the formation of higher technical-technological level, third level - degrees, and postgraduate in the area of risk management that belong to the broad field of knowledge of Services and training in disaster risks. In the field of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics; For this, bibliometrics, the word cloud, and descriptive statistics are applied for information management. To Describe and compare the current academic offer in Ecuador and the international context; The results show that in Ecuador. The technical and degree level training programs are off by private higher education institutions, while, in the postgraduate programs, public institutions prevail; most are self-funded. There is only one free; the most significant supply is concentrated in Quito, Loja, Guaranda, Portoviejo, Guayaquil, Cuenca, and Milagro; In the international context, the offer of postgraduate programs prevails in the territories.
