摘要
In this paper, an UWB high-gain Vivaldi antenna for brain imaging system is proposed. The performance of ultra-wideband and high gain of the antenna is achieved by making slots on patch and adding a reflector to the dielectric substrate, which meets the needs of the antenna in the microwave brain detection system. The overall size of antenna is 0.29 lambda x0.51 lambda x0.005 lambda, and the working bandwidth is 0.8GHz-4GHz. At 4GHz, the peak gain of 9.2dBi can be acquired. In the whole working frequency band the antenna has characteristics of directional radiation effect, which can be used in the microwave brain detection system.
