摘要
A pulsing system for slow positrons is under development for variable energy positron lifetime spectroscopy (VEPLS). In the new system using Na-22 radioisotopes and by the time dependent moderator bias, slow positrons have been compressed more than 50 % in a pulse with similar to 1.2 ns FWHM at similar to 25 MHz. In this paper, the preliminary results of VEPLS for three samples, aluminum, polyethylene and teflon are presented.
