摘要
The initial concept of PC-based flight simulation in providing a supplement to undergraduate teaching has been achieved and surpassed. The concept has many more applications, and these herald the possibility of the SADIE facility becoming a valuable tool within the project design environment as well as the lecture hall. Modern undergraduates are not always aircraft enthusiasts and their background knowledge is, therefore, not normally as strong as in the past. Flight simulation can help these students to fully understand how all aerospace disciplines interactan how this is handled in the industry.
