摘要
Advanced and more. complex data services as well as increasing voice applications in telecommunication,;on systems have driven the Significant increase of requirement for high-speed wireless connectivity. Major broadband wireless access technologies (WiFi, WiMAX/OFDMA, 3G/WCDMA) are converging ultimately allowing global access and seamless roaming to end-user. Broadband wireless access (BRA) along with evolving mobile Internet and multimedia services is driving the recent surge of research and development activities for future improvments in wireless communication systems. Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) techniques are emerging as major enhancements for future BWA systems providing further increase in spectral efficiency and data rates.
