Social Education and Social Pedagogy in Adult Education: its Contribution to Social Development

The article analyzes the influences that education and social pedagogy have in all areas related to adult education, as well as the link of specialized social education with job training, socio-cultural animation and community development. It is analyzed how the knowledge that emanates from these disciplines, allows the socialization of adults in terms of participation, updating, incorporation into community activities and cultural development. It is explained from the application in praxis, how it affects the immediate environment of these people and encourages their direct intervention in social/community development, through decision making, increasing occupational, communicative and leadership skills. The study analyzes how social pedagogy applied to adult education can contribute significantly to social development.
