Modeling and Evaluation of Small Rooftop Photovoltaic Effects on Reliability Indices of Distribution System Considering Customers Type

摘要
One of the impacts of distributed generation on power distribution system is changing level of network reliability. This paper examines the effects of increasing level of penetration of rooftop photovoltaic power stations on the reliability indices of the distribution network. The study was performed on part of the distribution network of Tehran. For a more realistic study, the assessment was carried out under different scenarios of the distribution of resources as well as different levels of penetration. Also, different types of customer was considered in this research. The results indicated that these resources have desirable effect by improving the reliability indices of the network.
