摘要
This paper presents autonomous navigation apporoaches that will enable high value science from Mars airplanes through the use of on-board landmark recognition. Similarly, for terrestrial applications we present autonomous navigation approaches that reduce communications bandwidth and operator workload by enabling higher levels of human interaction through behavior based control approaches.
