摘要：

The chemical reduction of H[AuCl4] with ortho-phenylenediamine in aqueous media at room temperature and ambient pressure allows the synthesis of Au nanoplates with lengths of several micrometers (see SEM image). The as-prepared nanoplates are single crystals with a preferential growth direction along the Au (111) plane and mainly hexagonal in shape. (Figure presented).
