摘要
Primary responsibility for the release of appropriate plant-related information during a nuclear power plant emergency rests with the affected utility. The accidents at TMI in 1979 and at Tschernobyl in 1986 had shown that there were serious problems with the sources of information. From this experience we have learnt that extraordinary good advance preparations are necessary in order to provide accurate, timely and understandable informations to the news media and to the public.
