Fast sparse synthesis of Large-Scale Arrays in Wideband and Wide Angle Scanning

摘要
In this paper, a hybrid approach combining the Covariance Matrix Adaptation Evolutionary Strategy (CMA-ES) Algorithm and rotationally symmetric locations used to optimize the layout of wideband array antennas. The same mechanism and rotationally symmetric structure leads to the reduction of optimizing problem sizes, also contributes to the optimization efficiency. The minimum distance between adjacent elements is set to be half wavelength in the lowest frequency. The low sidelobe level of different angle scanning is the main objective of wideband sparse array.
