Flexible billing tools meet customer demands

An advanced billing system must be designed to handle the needs of energy providers in a fast changing industry. Flexible application for billing (FAB) is the front end to an advanced billing software system, providing the user interface and control over the main processes of billing. FAB manages customers and their accounts, distributes rate calculation engine jobs in batch, prints bills, communicates with external customer information systems, and schedules all of these tasks. FAB is a 32-bit application developed in Visual Basic. The environment allows the quick development of robust, client-server database applications and is an excellent platform for customizing the product and quickly resolving implementation issues.
