摘要
This article presents the legal and guiding principles for accessibility in museums and discusses the application of Assistive Technology as a means to overcome the communication barrier present in exhibitions, defending the responsibility of science museums in the process of socio-cultural inclusion. The proposed discussion integrates a broader research, in which the qualification of educational actions in science museums. Thus, this study aims to make considerations on the literature about the existing recommendations, taking into account the political and ethical dimension of accessibility. In addition, it intends to stimulate reflections based on the opinion of blind and deaf visitors. To achieve these objectives, an exploratory research with a qualitative approach based on documentary research procedures and survey research was proposed. It is expected that the reasoning elaborated will guide the subsequent stages of conception and construction of didactic materials for the promotion of inclusion of visitors with disabilities in cultural spaces. Likewise, it is expected that the systematization of the data collected in the questionnaires can contribute to future studies on the subject.
