A new induction heating unit for the continuous treatment of tinned steel strips

摘要：
Since several years, continuous tining lines use the induction reflow, combined with the conduction reflow, in order to get a good grip of tin on the iron substrate. In January 1996, in order to increase the capacity of its tinning line in Florange, Sollac has revamped all the reflow equipments. The tinning line and its new induction equipments are presented. The results and advantages connected with the new technologies are discussed.
