摘要
In a context of EU directives regarding equal opportunities in educational activities it must take into account this aspect. Equality between women and men is recognized as a basic principle of democracy, both at international and European level. Romania is among the countries that have ratified the relevant documents relating to equal opportunities. This factor is important because avoiding discrimination on various criteria is a goal. By implementing a system of modern education, we managed to ensure equality of opportunity in Romanian geodetic higher education through e-learning. We emphasize a relevant case study, in the year 2012, with concrete issues regarding the proportion of females compared with males in the educational activities of four universities, representing four regions of Romania.
