摘要
A study on copper-niobium high-strength and high-conductivity winding wires for pulsed magnets is presented. It is observed that the deformation of Cu-Nb ingots consisting of a two-component composite material formed in-situ is accompanied by their strain hardening. It is shown that the decrease in the cross-sectional sizes of the niobium inclusions in the process of deep plastic deformation is accompanied by transformation of the initially equiaxial inclusions into ribbon filaments. © 2002 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
