摘要
We recalculate The Total Reallocation Effect in China's structural change, taking into account variable factor output elasticity along with an extended estimate for China's capital stock by sector based on Xu (2007). It is found that The Total Reallocation Effect has always been an important source of China's economic growth, and it has contributed to 21.5% and 7.9% of the total factor productivity and economic growth respectively. The changing tendency is consistent with the multi-country model continuous growth in the middle and later period and then gradually reaches to the climax. It illustrates that the potential of The Total Reallocation Effect in China's structural change The China's economy can still gain significant benefits from structural change in future, since the large dispersion between sectors' factor marginal products.
