摘要
This paper aims to study and provide understanding on the impact of wind generation on voltage stability in distribution networks taking into consideration the intermittent nature of wind generation. For this purpose a 61-bus radial distribution network has been modelled in Powerworld (R) simulator. Wind generation is connected at different locations of the network and these locations are identified as critical points, and the level of wind penetration is varied systematically to assess the influence on voltage stability. In addition, a voltage collapse proximity indicator, based on network loadability, is employed to investigate the contribution of wind generation to voltage stability.
