摘要
Software presents performance difficulties if it is the sole means of programmability in highspeed optical SDN and NFV. Programmable hardware, specifically the FPGA, offers an ideal cost-effective and power-efficient companion for implementing flexible SDN data planes and accelerating NFV functions.
