Field Emission of Electrons of Multi-Point Cathode Matrices in Strong Pulse Electric Fields

摘要
The dynamic properties are investigated and the features of the mechanisms of electron transport in near-surface layers of silicon multipoint cathode matrices of various types of electrical conductivity during field emission in strong pulsed electric fields of microsecond duration are considered. It is shown that an increase in the pulse duration increases the transparency of potential barriers and decreases the thresholds for the onset of field emission. The effect of pulse durations on the dynamic properties and parameters of field emission of electrons is determined by the type of electrical conductivity of silicon crystals and the type of chemically active gaseous media that were used in the plasma-chemical treatment of multipoint cathode matrices.
