摘要：

Pulmonary arteriovenous malformations are rare lesions frequently seen in patients with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. They can cause a variety of symptoms, including exercise intolerance, pulmonary hemorrhage, and neurologic events related to paradoxical embolization. Early on, surgical therapy was the only alternative for these patients; however, over the past 20 years percutaneous transcatheter embolization has become the preferred method of a treatment.
