Multi-stage Selling and Replenishment Models for the Ameliorating Items Taking Account of the Funding Constraints

In reality, there are some items whose value or utility or quantity increase with time and those items can be termed as ameliorating items. This study develops the multi-stage selling and replenishment models for the ameliorating items from the perspectives of the supplier. The models considered the ameliorating effects and funding constraints. The aim of those models is used to obtain the maximum total profit for the ameliorating items supplier. The corresponding algorithms which are used to derive the optimal solution of the models are designed. The numerical examples are given to illustrate that the models is very effective. Sensitivity analysis with respect to the parameters also is performed.
