On the behavior of the radiation field from large-aperture terahertz photoconductive antenna under impulsive excitation

摘要
In this paper, Large-aperture terahertz photoconductive antennas, placed on a hyper-hemispherical silicon lens and excited by a short pulse laser, are studied. The behavior of the radiation field is investigated in terms of several aspects. Our study shows that the radiated field is saturated when the photo-conductivity exceeds a, threshold value defined be the permittivity of the photoconductor material.
