Study on the reliability of asphalt pavement structure

摘要
In this paper, the calculation for the reliability of asphalt pavement structure is discussed. In recent decade's research, we have applied the direct Monte Carlo method and the statistical-analysis method of the Monte Carlo simulation to the reliability of asphalt pavement structure. By comparison with existing research results, we had found that the JC method is suitable. It is not only in accordance with the suggested "Unified Standard for the Reliability Design of Engineering Structure (GB 50153-92)", but its speed is fast and the precision can also satisfy requirement of the engineering design in the meantime. According to the calculated results of the JC method, the system reliability of asphalt pavement structure has been worked out with the PNET method. Therefore, we recommend the JC method be used in the reliability calculation of asphalt pavement structure in the future.
