摘要
Zirconia ceramic is one of the most concern materials for its excellent mechanical properties in the dental industry and for optical coatings. A simple one step biosynthesis was adopted for the synthesis of Zirconium oxide (ZrO2) nanoparticles using plant pathogenic fungus Fusarium solani, which act as reducing and stabilization agent. The structural and morphological study of ZrO2 nanopowder was subjected. XRD pattern revealed the peak located at 2 theta= 30 degrees (111) plan which represent the tetragonal structure. The morphology of the calcined nanoparticles was examined by HRTEM and clearly indicates spherical shape. The role of different functional groups of F. solani for the formation of ZrO2 nanoparticles have been studied by FT-IR spectroscopy.
