摘要：
A process of complex modernization (revamping) of two industrial process compressors has been described. A scope of changes in operating parameters, technical assumptions of the modernization and the calculation methodology employed have been presented. Some thermodynamic, flow and rotor dynamics problems have been discussed in the paper. The fundamentals and limitations of the modernization approach are discussed and the actual and previous operating data are compared for the chosen cases of compressor revamping.
