摘要：

The Charite/Virchow-Klinikum has invested a large amount into the internal hospital infrastructure starting with the ATM based campus network, new HIS, HL7 communication sewer and interfaces, departmental systems e.g. for surgery and for wards, image archiving and communication and Intranet applications for images and reports from radiology and lab. This progressing infrastructure is open for future requirements and enhancements to meet the challenges of fast changing German health-care system.
