Standard information out of the integrated measurement and information system (IMIS) and the program for the assessment of radiological consequences (PARK) in case of a nuclear accident

In case of a nuclear event with possibly significant radiological consequences data to be used for assessing the radiological situation and recommending countermeasures are provided by the Integrated Measurement and Information System for the Surveillance of Environmental Radioactivity IMIS and the Program System for the Assessment and Mitigation of Radiological Consequences PARK. Due to the huge amount of data and strain on staff in the early phases of an event it is useful to define a reduced set of information on which the assessment will be based normally. This standard information has to be available quickly and to permit a reliable assessment. A set of information is suggested and justified.
