摘要
As the complexity and diversity of application scenarios for ad hoc networks, it is necessary to select a suitable MAC protocol according to the performance in actual application. This paper proposes a performance prediction method for MAC protocols based on BP neural network, which can predict the throughput, delay, and packet loss rate for the given MAC protocol according to actual application scenarios. In addition, this paper improves the traditional BP neural network by introducing an amplification function. The simulation results show that the prediction method proposed in this paper can effectively predict the performance for the given MAC protocol, and the improved method for BP neural network can effectively accelerate the convergence rate of the network parameters.
