Explicit solutions to the time-independent perturbation equations of the Reissner-Nordstrom geometry

摘要
It is proven that the equations for the time-independent, negative-parity, gravitational and electromagnetic perturbations of the Reissner-Nordstrom geometry have (for each angular momentum) one solution in the form of a finite power series in the (Schwarzschild-like) radial coordinate r. The explicit form of these solutions is given. Therefrom the second fundamental solutions of these equations, and the positive-parity perturbations, can also be constructed explicitly.
