The set of papers (Part I-IV) sums up the results of an extensive project to quantify primarily the creep characteristics but also other deformation properties of Norway spruce (Picea abies) and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) wood under conditions relevant in the high temperature drying process. This paper reports the experimental results obtained for creep in tension under drying conditions at temperatures 95-125 degrees C. The results are compared to other researchers' measurements of mechano-sorptive creep at conventional drying temperatures (up to 80 degrees C). Based on this comparison the effect of temperature on the perpendicular to grain mechano-sorptive creep compliance is quantified.
