摘要
According to Central Statistical Office of Poland, 540.3 thousands of tons of sewage sludge in respect to dry mass, have been produced in Poland in 2013. One of possible ways of utilization of sewage sludge is its incorporation in building materials, e.g. concrete. Paper presents results of investigations on basic properties of concrete incorporating fly ash from municipal sewage sludge thermal treatment. Use of fly ash as cement replacement in the amounts 10%, 12% and 15% resulted in decrease of compressive strength which is significant in case of 12% and 15% of fly ash after 2, 7 and 14 days. After 56 days of hardening, differences are very small, and in case of 12% of fly ash addition concrete has strength higher by 2 MPa. Decrease of flexural strength is larger. Also sorptivity of concrete is increasing significantly.
