摘要
The constrained geometry catalyst [Me2Si(CP)((NBu)-Bu-tert)]ZrCl2 is in combination with MAO a useful catalyst for the production of alpha-olefin oligomers. Protected by a coating of these oligomers the catalyst survives a treatment with water and even dilute hydrochloric acid. Afterwards, the catalyst is still significantly active in the polymerization of ethylene and furthermore offers a way to synthesize long chain branched polyethylene. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.
