Fuzzy Logic-based Evolutionary Approach for Load Balancing in Large-Scale Wireless Sensor Networks

摘要
We propose in this paper an adaptive fuzzy logic approach (Fuzzy_AD) for WSN routing optimization. It is based on the principle of designing and optimizing of a Fuzzy Inference Estimator (FIE) by the use of the concept of child-Parent inheritance with a realistic energy consumption model. The routing decisions for selecting the optimal paths are performed according to the result obtained by the FIE, providing global energy saving and load balancing over the rest of the network. Performances and benefits of the proposed adaptive fuzzy approach are compared with other existing energy aware routing protocols on a TinyOS experimental platform.
