Thermal and hydrodynamical characteristics of two-phase flow in channels with internal fins

摘要
Paper reflects some results obtained during studies od two-phase flows in internally ribbed channels which are perspective for use in two-phase thermal control systems of large spacecraft. Experiments were conducted using two test sections. The first had a trapezoidal internal crossed ribs what provide a nonseparation flow. The second test section allowed to change the angle between ribs and a longitudinal step. R113 (test section #1) and NH(3) (test scetion #2) were used as test fluids.
