摘要
Applications in modem enterprise systems are increasingly becoming more complex and distributed, typically running on different computers, on different operating systems and using different software tools, and are interconnected by different networks. Yet amidst all this heterogeneity, there exists a need for objects to communicate with each other. Messaging is now recognized as an essential tool for building enterprise applications. By combining Java technology with enterprise messaging, the JMS API provides a new, powerful tool for solving enterprise-computing problems. Enterprise messaging provides a reliable, flexible service for the asynchronous exchange of critical business data and events throughout an enterprise. This paper evaluates the performance of three distributed open source messaging application servers - SunJMS, OpenJMS and JBossMQ.
