Helping children with troubled parents

Children's psychosocial problems can be hard to treat even in the context of well-functioning families, and new constraints from managed care organizations add to the challenge. By synthesizing strategies that pediatricians already use, however, the primary care physician can successfully help many of the troubled children and families they encounter.
