摘要：
In this paper, a low-profile wideband connected slot array is proposed for wide-angle scanning applications. By introducing a parasitic parallel slot, the input impedance of the element is reduced. A metasurface loaded over the array is utilized to achieve a wide-angle impedance matching. The proposed array can achieve 69.2% (1.35-2.78 GHz) bandwidth with active VSWR <= 3 when scanning up to +/- 60 degrees in both E- and H- planes, and the profile is only 0.09 lambda(L) at the lowest operating frequency. The low cross-polarization, simple structure and the light-weight are also advantages of the proposed array.
