On reliability- and energy-aware scheduling of real-time embedded systems

摘要
High fault-tolerance against transient faults and low energy consumption are key objectives in the design of real-time embedded systems. Traditional study targeted reliability or energy-efficiency design techniques of such systems separately. Some recent research works addressed energy optimization and system reliability issue simultaneously. In this paper, we survey the trade-off for reliability-and energy-aware scheduling of real-time embedded systems, including uniprocessor, dual-processor, multiprocessor, and network-on-chip systems.
