The regression analysis of the carbon emissions and economic growth of Tianjin

摘要
By collecting the data of various types of energy consumption and relevant indicators of economic growth from 1995 to 2009, we calculate the carbon emissions in Tianjin combined with the formula. In this paper, we select GDP of per capita, population size, technology investment, the GDP of secondary industry as measurements of economic growth. Then we do regression analysis between carbon emissions and relevant indicators. It shows that the carbon emissions increase accompanying with the growth of GDP of per capita and secondary industry. But it firstly increases then decreases with the growth of population size and science and technology investment. Then according to the findings, we will propose relevant measures to optimize the situation.
