A Study on the Social Integration of Village within City in the Process of Urbanization in China

Based on summarizing the concept, formation, development and classification of urban village, this paper presents the situation of social integration of the village within city from the aspects of social form, physical form, economic form and spiritual form. And then deeply analyzes the reasons that affect the social integration of these villages in the aspects of economic factors, psychological factors, identity factors, spatial factors and cultural factors. Finally, the author puts forward some concrete countermeasures and suggestions from the perspectives of government leading function, promoting science and culture level, creating suitable living space, promoting harmonious community construction and strengthening community cultural integration.
