SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM ON BORIS MAGAS'S ARCHITECTURE KARLOVAC, 25TH OCTOBER, 2014

On 25th October, 2014, Karlovac hosted a scientific symposium to mark the anniversary of Boris Magas's death. The symposium, dedicated to the memory of this renowned Croatian, architect, member of Academy and university professor, was held under the patronage of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the town of Karlovac and organized by the Association for Protection and Enhancement of Cultural and Natural Heritage of Karlovac, Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb, Faculty of Civil Engineering in Rijeka, and the Institute of Art History in Zagreb. Seventeen presentations were given on the following topics: theory of architecture, Boris Magas's architecture, teaching, study and architectural heritage, large scale and urbanism in the theory and projects of Boris Magas. A presentation of the book entitled Boris Magas - reflections on architecture was also part of the program.
