A new method for superstructure-foundation-soil interaction

摘要
The interaction of superstructure-foundation-soil is taken as a major research objection by both structural engineer and geotechnical engineer at present. Since the concept of the interaction of both frame and soil was presented by Meyerhof in 1947, a lot of work has been done, and many research achievements have been obtained. But many questions are remained to be sloved, such as choice of models,number of computer storage, etc. In this paper, the superstructure is analysed by three-dimensional subsructuring method. The foundation is taken as a raft plate on elastic foundation by boundary element method. The soil's effect is considerated into the flexural differential equation of the raft foundation. Then,both substructuring method and boundary element method are coupled to reduce greatly the amount of unknowns,and the choice of model can be corresponding with engineering practice. Some examples are given. The results analyzed by this method show that the laws of interaction of superstructure-foundation-soil are confirmed,and that efficiency and accuracy of the method presented are higher than the others.
