摘要
A programme for forest tree breeding in Poland is guided in order to improve a productive capacity of forest generation in the future and to preserve a genetic diversity. At the programmme aspects of forest's tree selection with regard to resistance to pest insects and diseases are not taken into consideration. The research into the genetic resistance to pest insects and diseases is possible by using of genetic, molecular, biochemical and morphological markers. The aim of the research is to recognize mechanisms that determine the resistance of pine to deciduous pest insects and the resistance of spruce to eight-toothed bark-beetle lps typographus L. Detection of genotypes of some insect species and their host-plants, as well, would make possible to undertake early selection of forest tree, that possess the genotypes which are resistant and susceptible to attack of different pest insect species.
