摘要
Fingerprint positioning method is now usually used to estimate the location of the target in the indoor environment. It has a relatively high positioning accuracy and is convenient to implement. However, there are few researches applying fingerprint method into outdoor positioning. The 3-dimensional ray-tracing algorithm has been used widely for accuracy predicting the propagation characteristics of radio-frequency wave in the indoor environment. It provides deterministic prediction models of path loss in wide range of operating environments. The ray-tracing method can reduce the cost and save the time for a large amount of measurements, and it can provide accurate information of the wireless channel. Moreover, there have existed many improved algorithms which increase the efficiency of ray-tracing at present. Due to the advantages of fingerprint positioning method and 3D ray-tracing algorithm, they are combined together to apply in the satellite-signal-based outdoor positioning scenes and improve the location accuracy in this study. The main purpose of our research is to investigate the propagation characteristics of satellite signal and utilize the different characteristics of predicted signal at different locations and different time to establish a dynamic fingerprint database to achieve the positioning task. Comparison results of the predicted 3-dimensional fingerprint by using the received satellite signal with the conventional positioning methods can be achieved. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed ray-tracing model in the analysis of signal and the satellite-signal-based positioning accuracy improvement compared with the traditional positioning method.
