摘要
Terrorism: from social foundations to victims' behavior (by Farkhad Iliyasov) discusses social and ideological roots for emergence of contemporary terrorism, including disappearance of Marxist states and weakening of left-wing forces in most of the world. Idea of social justice has spontaneously globalized and found its second breath; it seems to be closer to wishes of popular masses the world over than the idea of free competition. Types of terrorisms and terrorist motivations are presented embracing subjects, objects and motives, as well as economic, ethnic, political and social types of terrorisms. Psychological reactions to terrorist attacks are suggested including stages and a certain mechanism of 'fear loop' leading eventually to surrender.
