摘要
Short-circuit fault of electrified railway catenary system cannot be avoided. How to accurately and reliably locate the fault point and eliminate the fault is one of the effective measures to improve the efficiency of railway operation and improve the safety and stability of the railway system. When the short-circuit grounding fault occurs in the catenary system, the transient traveling wave signal will be reflected back and forth at the fault point and the end point. Identifying the time accurately when the initial fault traveling wave and the reflected wave of the fault point arrive at the measurement point is the key to locate the fault point. Simulation was performed on the PSCAD/EMTDC platform. The simulation results show that after the line fault occurs, the improved traveling wave fault location algorithm based on wavelet modulus Maxima can accurately locate the fault location, and the measurement error is controlled within an acceptable range.
